About
As creative director, I led every phase of this short film from shaping the original concept and characters, to writing the script, casting the actors, assembling a hand‑picked production team, and guiding the final edit. This end‑to‑end creative leadership culminated in a professional premiere at the Magno Screening Theater in Times Square.
Benny & Chris began with a crime-drama story centered on Benny, a young woman following the same dangerous path as her late drug-dealing father. I approached the film as an opportunity to build a visual world around themes of loyalty, legacy, and consequence.
As Creative Director, I developed the story and creative direction, helping shape how the characters, relationships, and tension would translate on screen. I cast the project, assembled the creative team, planned the production, and directed the film from concept through execution.
During production, I directed the cast and cinematography with the goal of creating a visual language that supported the story and its characters. I then edited the footage myself, shaping the pacing, performances, and sequence of events into the final film.
Benny & Chris allowed me to lead the creative process from the initial idea through the finished film bringing together storytelling, casting, direction, cinematography, and editing to create a complete narrative experience.
